The Governor of Krasnodar Region summed up the results of the past year at the beginning of the call-in show The Direct Line.

The region's Gross Regional Product (GRP) reached 3 trillion in 2021, 3.5 trillion in 2022, and is projected to reach 4 trillion in 2023. By the end of 2024, the region's GDP is expected to reach a minimum of 5.5 trillion rubles. «Over the past decade, we have successfully increased the region's GRP by 2.5 times,» Veniamin Kondratyev said.

In 2024, the consolidated budget revenues of the Krasnodar region are estimated to reach approximately 550 billion rubles, marking an increase from the 2023 figure of 498 billion rubles. The region's expenditures will exceed 588 billion rubles. As in previous years, a significant portion of the budget will be allocated to the development of the social sector (367.7 billion rubles).
