The Krasnodar Region Almost Five Times Increased the Amount of Concluded Agreements at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

Veniamin Kondratyev commented on the results of the SPIEF-2018 to journalists.

According to the Governor, the last forum became fruitful and indicative for the region. The Krasnodar Region has risen by one position for one year and took the sixth place in the National Rating of the Investment Climate among the subjects of the Russian Federation. This is a result of the work of the entire regional team and an indicator of confidence in the region by investors, Veniamin Kondratyev emphasized.

– Of course, the sixth place is not the limit, it is still very much to work on. And here it is not about getting into the top five or the top three. The fact is that there can not be stops or feelings of complacency in working to create conditions for business. The competition for an investor among the regions is giant today, and we do not have the right to lag behind in this race, – the Governor commented.

The region significantly increased the total amount of the concluded agreements – in 2017, at the St. Petersburg Forum, agreements were reached for projects with a total investment volume of 4 billion rubles, and in 2018, the figure increased to 19.5 billion rubles.
