Kuban wines recognised as the top Russian wines of 2025

Roskachestvo has published its Wine Guide to Russia for the 2025-2026 season. Dry wines from the Krasnodar Region of various vintages secured the top positions in the overall ranking.

The top five white wines were led by the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc from Mantra Estate (Anapa) with a score of 4.45 points, and the 2023 Chardonnay from the same winery with 4.42 points, followed by three wines with a score of 4.40 points: the 2023 Riesling Krasnaya Gorka from Galitsky & Galitsky (Anapa), the 2021 Riesling Family Reserve from the Sikory winery (between Novorossiysk and Anapa), and the 2022 Q Blanc from Fanagoria (Temryuksky District).

The winner of the red wine category winner was the 2020 Family Heritage from the Sikory winery, which received a score of 4.49 points, followed by the 2023 Renaissance Petit Verdot from the Raevskoe winery (Novorossiysk) with a score of 4.47 points. The 2022 Old Road to Dzhankhot from the Mezyb Estate (Gelendzhik) received third place with a score of 4.44 points.

A total of 206 red wines were included in the study: 162 dry, 28 semi-sweet, 10 sweet, and 6 semi-dry wines. In addition, 240 white wines were tested, including 27 semi-sweet, 20 semi-dry, and 2 sweet wines.
