Kuban companies reach an agreement on provision of supplies to Asian countries at an exhibition in Vietnam

Four companies fr om the Krasnodar Region participated in over 200 negotiations with representatives of Southeast Asian and other countries at the Vietnam Foodexpo exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City.

«Vietnam Foodexpo is one of the largest food exhibitions in the country. For businesses in the Krasnodar Region, this event presents a valuable opportunity to enter the rapidly expanding market of Southeast Asia, wh ere demand for high-quality food products is consistently on the rise. Two contracts have already been signed with Vietnamese counterparties for the supply of agricultural products, flax and lentils, and several more are in the process of being finalised. We consider Vietnam to be one of our key partners in Asia and intend to systematically develop this area, providing all the necessary support to our exporters,» said Vasily Vorobiov, Acting Head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the Krasnodar Region.

Among the participants of the international exhibition were representatives from over 20 countries in Southeast and East Asia, Europe, and other regions, including Russia. The stand of the Krasnodar Region attracted particular interest from visitors from Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and China.

Preliminary agreements were reached during the exhibition. Producers of honey, sports nutrition, and biologically active supplements held tastings at the Kuban stand and provided samples of their products to potential international buyers. Discussions regarding pricing and logistics are currently underway with contractors from Vietnam.

Kuban companies participated in the Vietnam Foodexpo exhibition with the support of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity.
