Governor Veniamin Kondratyev shared these results at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In 2024, Krasnodar Region achieved a record-breaking investment total of 1.12 trillion rubles, growing 16% faster than the national average of 7.4%. Kuban ranked among Russia’s top six regions by total investment volume and secured a spot in the top three for investment growth.
The region now has over 550 major investment projects underway, valued at around 4 trillion rubles, which are expected to create approximately 112,000 new jobs. While the resort and spa sector, agriculture, and logistics remain key investment areas, energy and manufacturing have recently gained prominence.
During SPIEF 2025, the Kuban delegation signed deals to create and expand five import-substituting manufacturing companies across Severskaya district, Krasnodar city, Armavir city, and Belorechensk. They also agreed to launch Russia’s first creative production cluster in Krasnodar, which will include 30 companies.
Tourism development agreements include building three new premium wellness centers in Goryachiy Klyuch district, Mostovskoy district, and Kabardinka village in Gelendzhik city-resort; establishing a tourism cluster in Gelendzhik; constructing three five-star hotels, a sanatorium, and a major renovation of the resort in Anapa Resort Town; and developing a hotel complex and sanatorium in Sochi.
The agreements also cover modernization of the Afipsky oil refinery, the Udarnaya thermal power plant in Krymsky district, and transshipment terminals at the seaports of Taman and Novorossiysk. Additionally, the region will build Russia’s only deep-water terminal in Novorossiysk, a city honored as a Hero City.
