The coordinator of the German project for the creation of an industrial cluster in the Russian Federation announced this at the meeting of the heads of German companies with the Administration of the Krasnodar Region. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Governor Vasiliy Shvets.
As the Deputy Head of the Region noted, Germany is an old and reliable business partner of the Krasnodar Region. Vasiliy Shvets reminded that there were several business missions and negotiations only during the past three years.
- They all were held on a fairly high level. But the current 2017 year has become the most saturated one in the development of bilateral relations. The region is actively developing; it becomes even more attractive for investors, Vasiliy Shvets said.
Moreover, as the Vice-Governor noted, the economy of the region is resistant to crisis phenomena and makes a significant contribution to the formation of the countrys GDP. A half of the total turnover of the Southern Federal District accounts for the Krasnodar Region. All this allows the region to carry the informal title of the business center of the South of the country.
- In addition, we are constantly improving the current investment legislation to create the most comfortable conditions for investors. Today, the investment legislation of the region provides a wide range of benefits and preferences. These are tax preference, subsidies, information support and support of investors, the Vice-Governor emphasized.
As Hans Sauer, a project coordinator for the creation of an industrial cluster, said in his turn, the small and medium-sized enterprises of Germany are interested in cooperation with the Krasnodar Region.
- We are seriously interested to secure a footing in the south of Russia and to construct a center of agricultural machinery here, Hans Sauer added.
