French company become interested in the project of creating the Lagonaki mountain climatic resort

Recently, representatives of the Krasnodar regional authorities discussed with potential partners  the Alp Tourism Development Company  alternatives for the participation of the French party in the implementation of the investment project.

According to the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar Region, the basis of Lagonaki project is expected to use public-private partnership mechanisms. Representatives of the French company offer support for the project fr om the design stage to its commissioning, as well as assistance in finding investors in France. Foreign guests personally visited the Absheronsk district, namely the Molochnaya River wh ere Lagonaki resort is planned to be placed, as well as Guam gorge.

Alp Tourism Development already has an experience in creating world-class resorts. The company accompanied projects in France, China, South Korea and New Zealand. The revisit of the group in the Krasnodar region is scheduled to be in June, 2016, and the company will provide the Kuban Governor its project solutions. The cooperation mechanism in the implementation of the project will be discussed at the same time.

Two ski villages are planned to be built and two upper stations of ski lifts are planned to be installed on the northern slopes of Lagonaki Ridge in the Absheronsk district. The ski infrastructure will include seven wire cableways and 14 ski trails with a total length of about 30 km. The implementation of the first phase of Lagonaki mountain climate resort is expected to be completed until 2019. The design simultaneous capacity of the resort will amounted to 7,000 people including 1,000 people at the accommodation facilities at the first stage.
