The meeting was held by the Head of the organizing committee - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak. The meeting was attended by Alexander Tkachev. The Government of the Russian Federation appointed the Kuban Governor as the Deputy Head of the organizing committee.
The First Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar region Dzhambulat Khatuov and the Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar region Alexander Saurin took part in the organizing committee.
The Krasnodar region during preparation for the race "Formula 1" provides the construction of the road and the race track as a whole, as well as takes an active part in its operation activity.
As it was noted at the meeting, according to the schedule, commissioning of the route for the "royal" race is scheduled on August 10, 2014. At the end of August, the International Automobile Federation will check the quality of the race track.
The race track is completed over 94%. At the end of last week, the final layer of asphalt was laid; its composition was specifically designed to meet the climatic characteristics and the geographical location of Sochi.
Overall readiness of the facility is 92%. The buildings, where the participating teams will house, as well as a medical center and a helipad has been already put into operation.
Participants of the Organizing Committee discussed the transport logistics during "Formula". Thus, the Krasnodar region now works over an issue on the transport of guests by the suburban trains "Swallow".
As it was made at the meeting, a simplified visa system for foreign visitors will be organized during the time of the competition.
As during the Winter Games, volunteers will be attracted to conduct the Russian stage "Formula 1".
It must be recalled that on September 13-14, 2014, a test competition will take place as a stage of the Championship of Russia on the closed-circuit race.
Official ceremony of the race track opening is scheduled on September 19, 2014.
